- WAF/CDN 403 to a crawler UA while Chrome-shaped UAs get HTML

Best practice: a real entity and a URL map
Organization with name, url, logo, sameAs. llms.txt that lists 5–15 durable URLs. FAQPage on a page that has questions.
Experimental: llms.txt as a ranking factor
llms.txt is not a confirmed Google ranking factor. We score it as a map for answer engines that choose to honor it. A 200 OK brochure still fails the chapter.
What we refuse to score
- We do not estimate 'share of ChatGPT answers'. Nobody honest has that panel.
- We do not invent a newsroom or recommend paid Reddit threads.
- We do not stuff fake FAQ schema onto a homepage with no questions.
Semantic markup
- We read JSON-LD types on home and interiors. Microdata is a weaker signal in our parser.
- Invalid JSON-LD (trailing commas, HTML comments) is a medium finding — machines ignore it.

Do I need llms.txt to rank in Google?
